Job overview

We care for the hospital staff's children on site at ESH.  The age ranges from 3 months to 5 years, and the children are separated in 3 main play rooms.

You will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team.  You will be  involved in the planning and assistance  when providing activities and learning opportunities within the EYFS (Early years foundation stage).

Also working closely with parents sharing daily information.

 

 

Main duties of the job

  • Working in a team, supporting each other ensuring the day to day care of the children.
  • Assisting children at meal times and also intimate care (nappy changing + toileting).
  • Communicating with parents.
  • Interacting with the children during their play and extending their learning outcomes.
