JOB SUMMARY

 

Working within the Community Home Support Service the postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative support of the Community Home Support Team.

 

The role will include accurate data entry, supporting team members with project administration, supporting with events and liaising with service users, internal and external partners.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·       To provide administrative support to the Community Home Support Team.

·       Registration and accurate entry of client data onto SystmOne.

·       Dealing with emails and telephone enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and escalate those which require input from other colleagues

·       Supporting with administrative duties on all additional projects requested of the Community Home Support Team.

·       Regular use of word, excel and service systems.

·       Attend team meetings and events for the Community Home Support Service.

·       Liaison with internal and external parties via emails, telephone and face to face.

·       Maintain and input accurate data.

·       Working as an effective member of the team to deliver the service which includes Key Performance Indicators

·       Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timescales are met

·       Any other function commensurate with competencies and job role, ensuring they are working within the Provide policies and procedures.

  • GCSE’s or equivalent qualifications, or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge

  • Demonstrable experience of either administrative, data entry and use of IT skills in a practical setting
  • Work related experience
  • Experience of working within a team and providing support to more than one person
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and of working with sensitive information

  • Appropriate escalation of queries and concerns to the relevant member of staff
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload between urgent and routine tasks.
  • Discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information. Ability resolve queries etc competently and to escalate to team leader when necessary.
  • Demonstrate problem solving ability to work on own initiative within the framework of standard processes / procedures

Circumstances

  • The post holder may be required to travel to training events, meetings or to carry out duties of role.
  • In line with the organisations agile working strategy, there may be requirements to work in spaces other than the listed base including from home.
