An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the NHS Executive Financial Planning & Delivery Directorate as a Senior Business Analyst. You will be joining an innovative and award-winning team that is passionate about delivering value within NHS Wales, offering insights to the wider system by triangulating patient outcomes, financial data and healthcare activity, supporting financial sustainability and improvement across the system.
As the profile and reputation of the Directorate has grown since its inception, so has the demand for its expertise and insight.
It is an exciting time for individuals with drive and ambition to join the team with a growing work programme, agenda, and opportunity to make a difference within NHS Wales.
Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities will include playing a pivotal role in producing robust and effective financial analysis & intelligence in order to contribute to the Directorate’s delivery objectives. The post holder is a qualified finance professional within the Directorate, supporting the Assistant Directors in the robust monitoring of in-year plans and key areas of delivery. This includes the development of monthly reports for organisations analysing financial trends and the application of analysis tools to scenario test and risk assess organisations’ performance and forecasts.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
