Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an exceptional Administrator to join our Place teams in All Age Continuing Care at Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board. We have a number of roles available in our Place teams in the following sites.
· Warrington
· Cheshire East
· Cheshire West
· Liverpool/Sefton
You will be acting as a first point of contact for the service, dealing with routine enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information and referring to other team members as appropriate.
Providing a sensitive and efficient administrative support for the department and maintaining confidentiality of information relating to service users. Able to produce a variety of professional and accurate documents using various IT packages to a high standard.
Working with and supported by the Head of Service, the post holder will help ensure an open, and engaging culture for individuals and staff that ensure excellence in individual commissioning.
Main duties of the job
Reporting directly to the Business Support Manager/Senior Administrator and working as a key part of our Place hubs to form an effective and functional team that will ensure safe, effective and sustainable individual commissioning.
This role will be pivotal in delivering efficiencies and performance within available resource.
The post holder will be expected to support the development of an open culture for individuals and staff that encourages excellence in commissioning.

The service operates Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm, with no bank holiday working.

Essential criteria
- General administrative / secretarial qualification of equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
- RSA level 3 / NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- A knowledge and understanding of Data Protection and confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of NHS Continuing Healthcare
Skills
Essential criteria
- Proven history of planning and organising workload and distributing information in a timely manner as appropriate.
- Clear communicator with good writing, data entry and telephone skills.
- Able to exchange information with patients, family members and providers requiring tact and empathy.
- Follow policies and procedures in own area of work.
- Able to work using own initiative, organising and prioritising workload to set deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Accurate data entry and word processing and secure and accurate storage of data.

- Previous experience of working in an administrative environment using computerised data systems. Able to work in a busy environment with frequent interruptions
