Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist for Mental Health Services in the East Area. This is a permanent post working 37.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will carry a clinical caseload at advanced level and support the Area Head of Occupational Therapy Services as a deputy management lead for mental health services. Candidates will need to demonstrate they have advanced clinical skills in physical Occupational Therapy practice together with managerial/ Team lead experience to support the operational management of the service on a day to day basis and provide clinical supervision at an advanced level. Candidates will also need to demonstrate they can support the delivery of the change agenda across acute and community services through leadership skills and an understanding of the current health care delivery agenda.
The successful candidate will be supported through the service operational management team including Team Leads and the Area Head of Occupational Therapy Services.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
