Job overview
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support for both hospital and community services. There will need to be a high degree of flexibility as this role will provide cover for the various administrative roles within the service across multiple sites.
By the nature of the duties, the post holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, relatives, visitors and health professionals with courtesy, sensitivity and discretion.
Main duties of the job
Provide administrative cover for a variety of clerical roles as directed by the Administrative Team Leader.
The post holder will be expected to cover other sites and other departments as part of their role.

- GSCE English and Maths Grade C or above, or equivalent

Experience

- Previous clerical/computer experience

- Experience in all office procedures within an NHS environment

- Ability to use Word and Email
- Able to communicate effectively with all staff groups, clients and their families.
- Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the meaning of Confidentiality
- Ability to communicate well in written and spoken English Flexible approach to working
Desirable criteria
- Ability to demonstrate experience in all aspects of Microsoft Office including Excel.
- Knowledge of databases, e.g., WPAS/PIMS/Myrddin
- Experience within an area of high confidentiality.
