Business and Finance Manager

 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Business & Finance Manager to join our “Outstanding” rated Practice due to the upcoming retirement of our current Business Manager in August.

 About the Role:

You will play a vital role in ensuring the financial stability and long-term success of both the Practice and the Larwood & Bawtry PCN. Your responsibilities will include:

 Financial Management – Overseeing all income and expenditure, driving efficiencies, maximising revenue, and ensuring financial sustainability.

 Leadership & Line Management – Directly managing key team members, including:

·       Finance Team

·       Estates Manager

·       HR Manager

·       Digital & Transformation Lead

·       Practice Administrator

·       Medical Records Team Leader (subject to potential future change)

Strategic & External Relations – Acting as an ambassador for the Practice with commissioners and external bodies, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and strategic goals.

Internal Relations – Working closely with our well-established management team, including the Practice Manager, HR Manager and Estates Manager, alongside supportive Partners and an excellent team of clinical and administrative staff

 What We’re Looking For:

·       We seek a highly organised, strategic thinker with proven financial management experience. You should have:

·       A business qualification (essential); an accountancy or equivalent qualification is desirable. Strong financial acumen, leadership, and negotiation skills.

·       Experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.

·       The ability to drive efficiency improvements while maintaining excellent service delivery.

·       Experience in General Practice or healthcare finance (desirable).

·       A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

·       The ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment.
