This is an opportunity to join our friendly and dynamic team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for experienced midwives with at least two years’ experience at a band 6 level.

The successful candidate must demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation, flexibility and a passion for midwifery.  We strive to provide an outstanding standard of care for every woman and her family every time.

We need midwives who can evidence professional integrity and an honest approach to embracing new opportunities and challenges.

Main duties of the job

Ensuring the provision of safe, clinically effective, evidence based individualised care to all
women who are either planning a pregnancy, during the course of pregnancy, labour or

This role will involve working as part of a team across all areas of the maternity services
including the birth centre to respond to the needs of women and their families, providing
support and advise based upon current research and public health agenda.
You will take charge of the ward/department in the absence of more senior staff and
facilitate teaching, learning and development of all staff and students.
