Qualification & Experience

Essential criteria

Possession, or within 6 months of possession, of a CCT or equivalent by date of interview
GMC
FRCPath or evidence of equivalent qualification
Evidence of wide experience and a high level of clinical competence in haematology
Knowledge and application of up-to-date evidence-based practice
Ability and willingness to work within the Trust and NHS performance targets

Desirable criteria

Ability to perform effectively as a member of a team, including a multidisciplinary team and to motivate and develop staff
Ability to gain the trust and confidence of colleagues and patients
Commitment to active clinical governance and learning from errors

SEASONAL RESPIRATORY VACCINATIONS

We offer parking on site at Salisbury District Hospital, a daily charge applies. We encourage our staff to utilise other green methods of getting to work such as cycling or walking where possible, and our Trust is well connected through the bus services to the city centre and other areas.

Dementia UK is seeking a Consultant Admiral Nurse - Young Onset Dementia to provide expert clinical advice and support to families.

As part of our team, you will provide strategic, professional, and clinical leadership in Admiral Nursing, contributing to educational programmes and developing resources to raise awareness and promote best practice. You will also ensure that the needs of those affected are represented in national policy, research, and clinical guidance.

Clinical support can be delivered via telephone, online, and in clinics, and you will dedicate a minimum of 25% of your time carrying out this essential work.
