Job overview

We are currently recruiting to 2 full time vacancies in the department of Paediatrics for a period of twelve months.

Main duties of the job

 

Day to day care of patients rostered to on the Paediatric Wards and in Children’s Emergency Department and in Children Critical care.

 

Full-time including participation in a full shift rota system

The post holder will be expected to maintain high standards of clinical care and to engage in departmental education, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives.

Person specification

Experience/ Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Basic medical degree
  • Postgraduate qualification or appropriate specialist qualification
  • Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
  • Higher Degree Advanced Life Support Certificate from the Resuscitation Council UK or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • Details of any additional qualifications, accreditation and courses
