The post holder will initially be supernumerary in 5 clinics and eye casualty sessions per week and will conduct research and quality improvement projects and join departmental teaching in the other 5 sessions/week

Basic Medical Degree
Postgraduate qualification or appropriate specialist qualification
Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
Advanced Life Support Certificate from the Resuscitation Council UK or equivalent

Clinical Skills and Experience

Essential criteria

High level of clinical experience in all aspects of Ophthalmology
Evidence of personal patient centred outcomes/audit
Able to perform cataract surgery
