Job overview

Swansea Bay University Health Board Radiology services are provided on three main sites: Morriston (Swansea), Singleton (Swansea) and Neath Port Talbot Hospitals.

We are looking to appoint Full Time Band 5 Diagnostic Radiographer's  to support Radiology services on the Neath Port Talbot site, joining the busy multidisciplinary teams there. You should be a qualified Diagnostic Radiographer with current HCPC registration. Students qualifying in 2025 may also apply 

 

 

 

Main duties of the job

This role of Band 5 radiographer will primarily be supporting the plain film and theatre radiology department. Your duties will incorporate inclusion in the main out-of-hours rota. You should have experience within Radiography, be BSc / DCR qualified, and be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

The busy, friendly and supportive Departments within the Health Board perform a wide range of plain film x-ray procedures, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, Theatre, Cardiology, MRI and CT. The Department is committed to providing training and development for all staff. All Radiographers are involved with teaching undergraduate student Radiographers from the University Hospital of Wales.
