Finance Analyst

We have an opportunity for a full-time Finance Analyst to join our dynamic and busy Business Support Team.
This role will be supporting a Deputy Business Support Accountant working with Corporate Departments to help ensure robust and accurate financial management and reporting are completed at all times.

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS hospital services for around 900,000 people across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and south Buckinghamshire.

The post holder will support and input into the production of monthly and annual management accounts, including;
- Correctly coding a large volume of supplier invoices on a daily basis
- Maintaining Budget Managers document showing correct approvers for each cost centre
- Investigating variances and resolving discrepancies, liaising with internal and external parties as necessary.
- Discussion with staff regarding confidential and sensitive financial issues and offering financial advice where possible.
- Participating with interfaces and journals to input and manipulate financial data onto Finance Systems.

- Relevant finance experience in a large organisation.
- Experience of preparing and maintaining accounting records
- Use of relevant software packages
- Preparation of management accounts

- Previous NHS Accounting Experience
- Knowledge of E Financials
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials
- Knowledge of Electronic Staff Record
Qualifications

- AAT full membership (i.e. exams plus portfolio of minimum one year’s work experience
- CCAB/CIMA Certificate level or Honours degree

- Commitment towards completing CCAB/CIMA qualification
