In depth knowledge of specialised psychological assessments, clinical formulation, and evidence-based, psychologically informed interventions
An awareness of wider healthcare systems, NHS services and the role of psychological services within the NHS.

Qualifications

Professional qualification as a Clinical Associate in Psychology from a BPS accredited course

Desirable criteria

Further training in a specific model of Psychological Intervention
Further continuing professional development relevant to work in mental health and/or psychological interventions

Experience

Essential criteria

Skills in managing time and workload in the context of multiple competing demands
Experience working with Children, Young People, and their families within mental health and/or psychological services.

Desirable criteria

Experience of working with groups and/or delivering group interventions.
