We have an exciting opportunity for an authentic, patient and staff focused leader within the division of surgery. Do you have engaging and empowering leadership skills? Are you great at motivating teams, with a proven track record of living shared governance principles in your everyday decision making?

We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to take on the role of Matron within the Surgery and Associated Services Division. The post holder will join the senior leadership team within the General surgery and Vascular Directorate covering the EGS Pathway

The  Matron  will be a key role in the continued development of our services and in transforming the experience of our patients.  This role is heavily focused on supporting our clinical teams to give the safest quality care for patients. This role will provide visible and dynamic leadership for our teams to deliver continued improvements. 

You will have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire and are you looking for an opportunity to develop and further and gain valuable leadership experience.

As a leader in talent management, you will have the experience and ability to develop new services, provide a clear vision for our teams and enable them to achieve their full potential.  You will inspire, motivate and coach your teams to provide the highest standards of care to every patient by continuously innovating new ways of doing things.
