Job overview
This is a great opportunity to join the leadership team supporting the emergency department as a Band 7 Full-time Unit Manager.
The unit operates 24hrs and 7 days a week and we deliver high-quality, effective, safe care in a well-led service. This role involves coordinating a motivated and dedicated nursing team and ensuring that the day-to-day management of the department meets our goals.
Main duties of the job
As part of the role you are expected to Lead and manage the team of staff within the department. This includes appraisals mandatory training compliance and ensuring a positive staff experience.
If you are a dedicated, energetic individual and have excellent communication skills with a passion for the delivery of emergency care we would like you to apply.
You will be expected to develop your scope of practice within local Trust guideline and policies. You will demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to care delivery and service improvement in order to work in this highly desirable area with a proactive multidisciplinary team.
