Job overview

The Post-holder will be providing a professional “front of house” reception service.  As the first point of contact to welcome patients, relatives, and other visitors to the Trust you will be reporting to the PALS Manager and will be expected to support the work of PALS.

Main duties of the job

It is essential that you have excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure.  As part of the role you will need to develop a knowledge of the hospital, providing directions and information to our visitors.

 

Working for our organisation

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
