About NICE:
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is an independent organisation that provides national guidance on improving health, public health, and social care. We help ensure that people using the NHS and other public services receive the best possible care by producing evidence-based advice, developing quality standards, and offering vital information services. At NICE, your work will have a direct impact on the care and support people receive, helping to shape the future of healthcare in the UK. Main duties of the job

In this role, you'll create engaging, in-depth content across a wide range of topics. You’ll develop content for NICE’s owned and earned channels, simplifying complex health information into accessible formats. You will also take ownership of key corporate publications like the annual report and business plan.

Collaboration is key: you’ll work closely with the Senior Content Manager, the Graphic Designer, and the Social Media Manager to produce engaging multimedia content, such as infographics and videos. You’ll also contribute to impactful case studies for the NICE website, showcasing real-world outcomes.

You’ll ensure all content is meticulously planned, written to the highest standard, and delivered on time while maintaining NICE’s brand and tone of voice. Working across departments, you’ll align content with broader communications and strategic priorities and build strong relationships with colleagues.

Additionally, you’ll partner with the web team to create fresh, engaging content for the NICE website, ensuring compliance with government digital accessibility standards. You'll evaluate content success and refine strategies using the Government Communication Service Evaluation Framework, keeping content timely, relevant, and impactful.
