Podiatrist
Band 5 – 37.5 hours a week
Whittington Health is an innovative organisation which delivers high quality health care for patients at the Whittington hospital and across the London Boroughs of Haringey and Islington. Whittington Health is situated in a vibrant and exciting area of London with a socially and culturally diverse population; such diversity ensures that the delivery of excellent health care is always both challenging and rewarding. Both boroughs have excellent public transport links and are highly accessible.
We are a supportive and innovative Podiatry service providing a comprehensive range of treatment specialities in both community and acute settings (e.g., Ulcers, Nail Surgery, Biomechanics, Diabetes). We are actively committed to staff development and have a strong clinical rotation programme. We will be actively supporting your development in this post and there is scope to progress to Band 6 roles if competencies are met.

Working for our organisation
Whittington Health serves a richly diverse population and works hard to ensure that all our services are fair and equally accessible to everyone. Nowhere is this more obvious than in the way we look after our staff. We aim to employ a workforce which is as representative as possible of this population, so we are open to the value of differences in age, disability, gender, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, race, sexual orientation, and religion or belief. The Trust believes that as a public sector organisation we have an obligation to have recruitment, training, promotion and other formal employment policies and procedures that are sensitive to these differences. We think that by doing so, we are better able to treat our patients as well as being a better place to work.
