Please note if your employment starts before the 24/25 pay scales are implemented you will be paid under the 23/24 pay scales and any backpay will be adjusted accordingly. Education & professional Qualifications
Essential criteria
- DCR (R) or BSc Diagnostic Radiography
- HCPC registration
Desirable criteria
- IV Cannulation Certificate

Experience
Essential criteria
- Substantial post qualification experience
- Knowledge and experience with NHS Targets and Care pathways
- Experience in specialised imaging techniques such as CT, Interventional Radiology/Cardiology
- Experience using PACS and RIS and an understanding of its significance for good service management and patient care
- Experience dealing with a diverse range of patient presentations
Desirable criteria
- Experience of performing Quality Assurance tests and management of a robust QA program
Skills and aptitudes
Essential criteria
- Ability to work independently and also within a team
- Ability to prioritise and organise demands and multi-task.
- Willing to take direction and learn from more experienced colleagues
- IV Cannulation experience and administration of Contrast
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of cross sectional anatomy

- Keen interest and understanding of a range of current and future imaging techniques and practices
