Job overview
Are you looking for a new challenge in the research community? The Industry Research Facilitator is a key member of the Research & Innovation (R&I) team at LNWH, dedicated to the growth of industry-sponsored research in alignment with the NIHR Clinical Research Delivery Capability (CRDC) framework. This role supports the effective set-up, governance, and delivery of commercial research studies, ensuring compliance with UK regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and national research performance metrics.
The post holder will work closely with investigators, clinical research teams, support services, and external stakeholders to enhance the Trust’s capacity to attract and manage industry-sponsored research studies. Responsibilities include facilitating study feasibility, governance approvals, contracting, performance monitoring, and supporting strategic research development across the hub and spoke model. This post allows you to enhance your professional development, enabling you to become an expert in this field during this exciting time in setting up our CRDC.
Main duties of the job
Research governance and compliance ensuring all legal requirements are met during the study set up process.
Study Set up and management including co-ordinating fast track activity and liaising with internal and external support departments to ensure smooth study set up.
Industry research development with active engagement with industry partners finding and developing new opportunities
Performance monitoring and reporting, tracking performance metrics and providing reports to demonstrate activity.
Strategic Relationship management, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the Trust at industry meetings, helping set up the “spokes” in our hub and spoke model
