We are looking to recruit a clerical assistant to join a small team based in the Health Records Department.
The postholder will be required to fulfil a range of administrative duties to support the effective and efficient functioning of the Subject Access Request team.
You will be expected to work flexibly, to contribute to the achievement of objectives and meet service requirements.
The role will involve the following duties
- Carrying out delegated administrative and clerical duties and communicating basic service information to stakeholders
- Liaising with a range of agencies and professionals
- Recording relevant and accurate information reporting to other team members as appropriate
- The reading of complex health records and redaction of third party information
The post holder will carry out their duties in a safe and efficient manner, observing confidentiality at all times.
Attention to detail is essential and high standards of data quality are required.
The successful applicants will be based at Astra Business Centre, Roman Way, Preston but may be required to work in other sites throughout the Trust.

- Educated to GCE or GCSE Level
- NVQ Level III in administration or equivalent knowledge and experience

- A Qualification in NHS clinical systems
