Qualifications

Essential criteria

First Degree in nursing or an equivalent portfolio of evidence
Non-medical prescriber
Current NMC Registration
First Level Registered Nurse

Knowledge, training and experience

Essential criteria

Evidence of professional/clinical knowledge in dermatology supplemented by specialist clinical, managerial training and CPD
Experience caring for patients with inflammatory skin disease (eczema, psoriasis, acne, hidradenitis suppurativa)
Experience managing dermatology patients who are being prescribed systemic and biological therapies

Skills and abilities

Essential criteria

Two years post registration plus experience within specialty
Evidence of proactive involvement in the mentorship and development of nurses and nursing practice
Effective communicator able to communicate complex and sensitive information
Evidence of relevant involvement in meeting the Trust clinical governance objectives
