QUALIFICATIONS

Meini prawf hanfodol

NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services with relevant underpinning knowledge (including unit 2.6)
or eligible to work as pharmacy assistant under grandparent clause (RSPGB)
or on the job training, and experience to equivalent of NVQ level 3 in dispensing practice

Meini prawf dymunol

4 passes at GCSE Grade C (or above) or CSE Grade 1 or GCE ‘O’ level (dual science preferred) Other level 2 or 3 NVQ in relevant areas of practice Dispensing certification eg NPA, Boots etc

EXPERIENCE

Ability to work under own initiative and with supervision
Able to meet deadlines whilst paying attention to detail
Satisfactory employment history
Previous pharmacy or stores experience
Ability to cope with occasional distressing circumstances e.g. when dealing with seriously ill patients

Clinical Lead

The Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) is seeking an experienced clinician to join its Clinical Lead team. This is a 12-month, fixed-term position that can be offered as a secondment or a fixed-term contract. While the role is full-time, applications from individuals interested in part-time work or job sharing are welcome. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to enhance their skills within a charitable organisation dedicated to resuscitation practice and education while continuing their clinical practice.

At RCUK we support clinicians delivering care for patients of all ages, and in a broad range of settings, including community care and out-of-hospital practice. As such, we want our team to reflect this and be drawn from this community of practice. There is no set background required for the role beyond being able to demonstrate commitment to resuscitation practice within an area of specialism, which is likely to include working at the advanced practice level.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

Title: Senior Practitioner Psychologist (internally this role is known as Senior Skylight Psychologist) or Practitioner Psychologist (internally known as Skylight Psychologist)

The Skylight Psychologist role is offered as a development opportunity for candidates in the first 18 months post qualification. There would be the opportunity to progress to the Senior Skylight Psychologist role when they meet the relevant clinical and leadership competencies.

As our Head of Operations for our Eastern Regional team, you’ll use your enthusiasm, positive thinking, and your management skills to support our local team. You will promote integrated working between the professional and trade union elements of RCN work and liaising and working with other RCN staff and departments as appropriate.

As the Head of Operations, you will be a key member of the regional management team and key to managing the overall service delivery of the region and ensuring the effective provision of advice, support and representation to RCN members. You’ll be responsible for the line management of Senior RCN Officers and overseeing the work and development for RCN reps and activists in the region. The regional management team lead on member and activist recruitment and retention.

Taking care of our members will be your primary role, but you’ll also see the possibilities that new members can bring. A key part of what you do will be to suggest innovative approaches to grow our membership.

An experienced manager, you will need knowledge of contemporary nursing, health & social care issues as well as knowledge of best practice in relation to employment practices, equality and diversity, human rights and equal opportunities.

The ability to foster strong professional relationships and encourage close collaboration between departments is at the heart of this leadership role.
