Qualifications

Essential criteria

RGN/RN (Adults) on NMC Register
Community Specialist Practitioner Qualification (District Nurse)
Non-Medical Prescriber V300 ( or commitment to undertake)
Advanced Physical Assessment Module ( or commitment to undertake within 12 months of coming into post)
Teaching and assessing qualification aligned to NMC requirements
Leadership/Management Training ( or commitment to undertake)
IOSH (or commitment to undertake)

Desirable criteria

Evidence of further study at Masters level
Trained to interpret microbiology and pathology results

Experience

Essential criteria

Extensive SPQ community nursing experience
Evidence of up to date knowledge and skills
Teaching in a clinical setting
Significant experience of team leadership and organisational skills at a senior level
Experience of caseload management
Experience of multidisciplinary working

Desirable criteria

Long term condition management
Experience of managing change and developing teams
Motivational Interviewing
