Qualifications and Training

Essential criteria

State Registered Podiatrist to Health and Care Professions Council
Degree/ Diploma in Podiatric Medicine
Masters degree or equivalent
Leadership or management qualification
Mentorship qualification
Certificate of local anaesthesia

Desirable criteria

Ultrasound qualification
Corticosteroid injection qualification
Advanced gait analysis

Knowledge and Experience

Essential criteria

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Presentation skills
Knowledge of NHS or departmental and Trust policies, procedures and guidelines
Knowledge of developing, auditing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating protocols/guidelines and procedures
