Job overview
If you are a Band 5 Dietitian with post gradate experience working in hospital setting this 12 months fulltime post might be for you. You will have the opportunity to work as part of well established Nutrition Support Team as well as providing dietetic service to general medical and surgical wards.
We are a small, friendly and supportive team of 25, made up of Dietitians, Assistant Dietitian Practitioners, a Nutrition Support Nurse and Administrative staff.

- HCPC registered
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant postgraduate dietetic experience in a hospital setting
- Significant experience of working with patients who require oral and artificial nutrition support
- Evidence of involvement in artificial nutrition support decision making and care planning for adults in hospital with complex needs
- Experience of healthcare menu development
- Experience of developing and delivering presentations
- Experience of supervising dietetic students on practice placement
Skills and Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner and as of a team
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Knowledge in the field of acute dietetics
- Evidence of leadership and team building skills
