Job overview

We’re looking for an exceptional Physiotherapist and we want to hear from you!  We’re a successful Trust with a strong commitment to delivering the highest standards of clinical quality, patient care and staff experience.  The key to our success is simple:  our people.  Their experience, knowledge, passion and ideas are our greatest resource.  Your job, alongside your team colleagues, will be to deliver an excellent MSK Out-Patient Physiotherapy service. You will be covering maternity leave within the team for 1 year, working with our current team and our system partners to ensure our patients receive timely and expert musculoskeletal assessment and access appropriate pathway driven care.  With your clinical experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, together with your energy and commitment to our public service, you’ll be able to make a huge difference.  We’re looking for a skilled physiotherapist, with experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, who is keen to work with our current team and system partners to develop services and deliver excellent musculoskeletal care.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the MSK Out-Patient Physiotherapy Team, you will support the Team Leads for MSK Out-patient Physiotherapy to develop and deliver the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Service.  Alongside other team members, you’ll embody our proud to CARE values to contribute to a truly inclusive workplace.  At the heart of this role is providing specialised MSK physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation, including identifying appropriate treatment pathways for our patients. You will be working collaboratively with our current team, which includes APP, ESP and FCP clinicians, and our system partners, developing and implementing the plans, procedures, and governance to contribute to the system wide Musculoskeletal Service.  We’re not shy about celebrating our people at the Trust and taking them with us on our collaborative, system working journey.  So, we want you to contribute to developing the MSK Physiotherapy Service at our Trust.  Here’s a message from Sharon Wood, one of our Professional & Service Development Lead’s in Physiotherapy: “If you have experience in and a passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and believe your motivation can help us work with our system partners to deliver the excellent Physiotherapy service our patients deserve, come and join us!  I’d love to welcome you in our MSK OP team.”

Working for our organisation

We provide a full range of district general services including urgent and emergency care, specialist children’s services, maternity and community midwifery.  We also offer primary care through three GP practices with eight surgeries between them.  Our vision is exceptional care provided by exceptional people.  Our mission is to bring our people, communities and partners together- providing patient care we can all be proud of.  Your energy and leadership will be critical to our success.

We are firmly rooted in the founding principles of the NHS, and we have built on this with our Proud to CARE values.  This means leading with care, openness, integrity and embedding an inclusive culture. We know that people have a life and responsibilities outside of work and we offer flexibility and a whole raft of support to care for your physical and mental wellbeing.  This role is hugely important to us and we look forward to hearing from you.
