Essential criteria

GMC full registration
Full MRCP
CCT or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC)

Desirable criteria

Higher Post Graduate qualification

Clinical Experience

Essential criteria

At least 4 years supervised training in an appropriate Gastroenterology SpR equivalent training programme
Familiarity with NHS
Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
Experience in Endoscopy, independent at diagnostic and therapeutic OGD and colonoscopy

Desirable criteria

Subspecialty interest in nutrition
Subspecialty interest in ERCP
Subspecialty interest in hepatology

Management and Administrative Experience

Essential criteria

Ability to work effectively with colleagues in an MDT setting.
Ability and willingness to work within the Trust and NHS performance framework and targets

Desirable criteria

Management Experience

Teaching/Audit Experience

Ability to apply research outcomes to clinical problems
Experience of audit
Ability to perform workplace based assessments
