We have an exciting opportunity for a senior nurse to join the Matron team within Medicine at Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

The role is varied and exciting with every day offering an opportunity to develop and support staff to provide safe, effective patient care. 

Staff well-being is a pivotal part of the role, with the post holder working with the team to ensure staff fell safe, cared for and listened to

Main duties of the job

The matron role is one of leadership and support,  working closely with the senior nursing leadership team within medicine to offer joined up, quality care to all patients. There will be opportunities to deputise for the deputy head of nursing in their absence.
