Are you passionate about supporting individuals on their recovery journey? ABBI Clinic in Preston is looking for a dedicated Full-Time Therapy Assistant to work within our specialist eating disorder service.

About the Role:

As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting individuals recovering from eating disorders. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to assist with therapy sessions, meal support, and patient engagement. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, patient, and eager to make a meaningful difference. We treat patients aged 14 to 65.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients during therapy sessions and meal times
  • Encouraging a positive and safe environment for recovery
  • Assisting in delivering evidence-based interventions
  • Preparing therapy spaces and resources
  • Providing emotional support to clients and promoting healthy coping strategies

What We’re Looking For:

  • A compassionate and patient-focused individual
  • Understanding of eating disorders and mental health challenges
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a specialist setting
