Role Overview: 
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support our locality team in Bristol.
This role offers the chance to develop your leadership skills, apply your well-developed clinical expertise to complex situations, and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the locality team in Bristol working alongside 3 other locality leads across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
  • Apply clinical skills to complex clinical situations to deliver coordinated and safe multidisciplinary working.
  • Liaison with health and social care agencies to facilitate safe care.
  • Promote the wellbeing of the team.
  • Leading the referral process on a duty basis.
  • Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team in decision-making processes.

Sirona care & health currently recruit overseas nursing and therapy staff through an NHS Trust Supplier and we adhere to the NHSE Code of Practice in relation to applicants from Red List countries. Essential criteria
  • Clinical qualification in a relevant health profession
  • Current registration HCPC or NMC registration
  • Hold a UK Driving License and have access to a vehicle during working hours
Desirable criteria
  • Training in interdisciplinary leadership

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Experience of provision of leadership
  • Experience working collaboratively to achieve the goals of the service user and the service
  • Experience of working across organisational and professional boundaries to improve care
