About the Role

The Te Toka Tumai| Auckland Ophthalmology Department is the largest in New Zealand. You will be working independently as well as alongside Paediatric, Oculoplastic, Adult Strabismus and Neuro-ophthalmologists giving you a very varied case mix with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

If you are a qualified Orthoptist holding an internationally recognized Orthoptic qualification this is a wonderful opportunity to start your career, take a career break or make a permanent move to experience the lifestyle that New Zealand has to offer.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Come and join our dynamic, award winning Orthoptic team who are ready to welcome a new recruit into our fast-paced clinical environment. This is a permanent, full time position ,based at Greenlane Clinical Centre.

About you

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Be internationally recognised Orthoptic Qualification
  • Have a membership of the relevant professional body
  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience post registration
  • Be customer/patient focused
  • Have the ability to work independently & as part of an MDT
