West London NHS Trust  provides a full range of mental health, community  and physical healthcare services for children, adults and older people living in the London boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow.

We also provide some specialist services that are commissioned regionally, such as our medium secure services; and nationally, such as the Cassel Hospital for people with complex and severe personality disorder and our high secure services at Broadmoor Hospital.

West London NHS Trust is continuing on its exciting, transformative journey and is seeking an experienced and highly capable leader to drive and deliver transformational change across our services, ensuring we continue to provide high-quality across our Mental Health, Community Health, Forensic and High Secure Services.

 

This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for designing, delivering, and embedding strategic transformation programmes that focus on improving integration, quality, efficiency, and sustainability across both clinical and corporate services. The Director of Transformation will provide expert leadership in change management, ensuring successful implementation of new systems, processes, and ways of working.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

·        Extensive senior leadership experience within the NHS, with a deep understanding of healthcare systems, policies, and the challenges facing the sector.

·        A track record of successfully leading complex transformation programmes and achieving measurable improvements in performance, financial outcomes, and operational efficiency.

·        Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable, impactful plans.

·        Experience working closely with Board-level executives and leading transformation initiatives with broad stakeholder engagement, particularly with partners across Place and system partnerships.

·        Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, creating strong collaborations and partnerships across multiple organisations.

·        Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and lead diverse teams to achieve shared goals.

Our high secure services care for patients from South of England and we provide low and medium secure services across eight London boroughs. The Trust also provides mental and physical healthcare in three London boroughs (Ealing, Hounslow and   Hammersmith & Fulham).  We employ over 5,000 staff, of whom 59% are BME. Experience
