Staff Nurse (Band 5), Community Health & Wellbeing Service

Band 5

Guernsey is in the English Channel and offers its residents a great quality of life. It’s the perfect escape for those seeking a laid-back yet adventurous lifestyle and a job with plenty of rewards.

So forget long commutes to work and head for our sandy shores where you’ll find everything you want within easy reach of where you live.

Are you a Registered Nurse with experience of working within the Community?  Do you have good clinical skills and competency in wound care?  Are you caring and compassionate, motivated and committed to providing assistance and care within the Community to a range of clients?  Do you have the confidence and capability of providing care to our clients without direct supervision?

As part of the multi-disciplinary team you will provide assistance in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care for our clients. You will also be required to assist with the management of caseloads in order to provide a high quality service as well as providing assistance in the supervision, deployment and teaching of staff and student nurses acting as their mentor, preceptor and/or supervisor.

This is a rewarding position where good interpersonal skills are key.

We offer a full relocation package which includes interview and relocation travel, this is in addition to our competitive pay and annual bonus.

Furthermore we offer subsidised accommodation for those travelling to the Island alone, and an 8 year employment permit for those wishing to bring a partner or family.  Please see the link below for further information regarding this.

Terms and conditions apply to the bonus, relocation package, accommodation, travel and employment permits.
