Admiral Nurse, Young Onset Dementia
This post is a unique opportunity for an exceptional nurse with a passion for improving the care and support for families and those living with Young Onset dementia on a national level. You will provide first rate clinical support and advice to those affected and their families over the phone, online and via referrals from the helpline and clinics.
Providing support and working alongside a Consultant Admiral Nurse, you will provide clinical expertise and training, acting as a senior practitioner demonstrating knowledge and skills, and integrating knowledge into practice. You will also support the collation and evidence of data and information to develop and improve care.
Delivering nursing practice in accordance with agreed policies and procedures and the NMC code 2015, you will attend and actively participate in development days, clinical supervision and continuous professional development.

Admiral Nurse, Digital and Dementia at work
For people of working age, living with or caring for someone with dementia has its own unique challenges. With proper advice about their legal entitlements, and timely emotional support to suggest new coping strategies and patterns of working, those affected can continue to work for longer.
As an Admiral Nurse dedicated to the Dementia at Work strategy, you will work towards developing and ensuring awareness of this strategy and the continuous development and implementation of digital pathways to meet the needs of those in need. You will manage our Dementia at Work proposition working to ensure the delivery of our Dementia at Work Strategy.
The Admiral Nurse, Digital and Dementia at work will participate in the raising of awareness, training and education from corporate partners and business within the South of England and provide specialist nursing support and practical advice. Candidates will be expected to travel to face to face meetings within the South of England, so should be based in and around the South in order to travel to destinations, with some overnight stays.
To apply, you must be a registered nurse with the NMC, have significant experience in Admiral Nursing or dementia care, and demonstrate a history of delivering dementia care in various settings to individuals with dementia and their families and carers.
