The rotations are eight monthly and are in the following areas:

Main duties of the job
King's College Hospital is a specialist tertiary referral centre for liver disease, neurosurgery, cardio-thoracics, cystic fibrosis, haematology and major trauma. The Trust has recently opened a new 60-bedded critical care unit, allowing the successful candidate a chance to work in an innovatively designed, state-of-the-art critical care unit.
The inpatient respiratory team is split into three teams, each with its own Clinical Lead Physiotherapist. The teams are Critical Care, Respiratory Medicine and Cystic Fibrosis. The community services also have their own Clinical Leads, and there is a Consultant Respiratory Physiotherapist in Respiratory Medicine.
There is a strong drive to participate in research at Kings, and the Respiratory team regularly submits posters and publications at national and international levels.
Continuing professional development is encouraged through the appraisal system, and there is a well-established in-service education programme. Attendance at post-registration courses is supported, and there are comprehensive library and computer facilities on site.
