Volunteering in the NHS Event - Doncaster
Volunteer
Job overview
Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Trust are holding a Volunteering event on Wednesday 12 February at 11:00am to 12:30pm to showcase the following administration opportunities to volunteer within the NHS. We have a range of posts available in the Doncaster Physical Health Care Group and Backbone Services with a main theme of Administration and Volunteer Drivers.
The event is being held at St. Catherine’s House, Drawing Room on Wednesday 12th February 2025, 11.00am to 12:30pm. To register your interest, you can simply turn up, or email [email protected] for more information with the subject 'Doncaster Volunteer event'.
At the event you will have chance to meet some of the team and understand volunteering within Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber (RDaSH).
Light refreshments will be available on the day. There will also be the opportunity to begin the paperwork necessary to start volunteering with the Trust, therefore please bring the relevant ID with you - see poster attached for what is required.
Main duties of the job
Volunteering within RDaSH can open many opportunities to support meaningful activities, gain some experience, help with getting job ready, put something back into the NHS, meet new people. If you have a few hours or more to offer in your week, please reach out.
All out of pocket expenses will be covered as an active volunteer including opportunities in training and development.
All roles currently require face to face volunteering and are not suitable to be carried out remotely. It would be useful if you could submit your application via Trac before the event. If you have any difficulty in doing this, there will be an opportunity to apply at the event.
If you are unable to attend either of the events and are still interested in volunteering, you can email [email protected] and we can discuss what opportunities may be available for you.
