Director – NICE Advice
- Permanent, full-time
- Manchester or London, with hybrid-working
- Accountable to Director for HealthTech, CHTE
As the Director of NICE Advice, you will be responsible for leading and growing our business unit. You will oversee all aspects of the business, including strategy development, sales, project delivery, and team management. Your goal is to enhance NICE Advice's reputation as a trusted partner and drive its continued success.
The assessment process
- Anoymous longlist and shortlist: Applicants will be evaluated against the essential criteria mentioned in the job advertisement
- Stakeholder discussion: Candidates will discuss a topic with a range of key stakeholders from across NICE to assess their soft skills and values fit to the organisation
- Psychometric test: Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a short 15 minute psychometric test before attending an interview
- Interviews: A topic will be provided in advance of the interview for candidates to prepare a presentation for the executive commercial team
Interviews are expected to take place week commencing 28 October 2024.

- Achieving annual business targets, maintaining the highest standards of advice to clients through the various products/services and ensuring robust operation within the agreed governance framework
- Strategic development of the business unit, identifying new opportunities and developing the portfolio of consulting services including those delivered in collaboration with external partners such as EMA, MHRA, EUnetHTA, the FDA, other public sector bodies and potentially commercial organisations (CROs, investment and consulting companies)
- Ensuring a high profile for the business unit with the client base of developers of healthcare products and international organisations such that there is on-going demand for consultancy services

- Appropriate postgraduate scientific qualification eg PhD/MBA and demonstrable experience in a commercial customer facing healthcare industry. Further specialist training or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience and further training/development

- Contemporary Industry experience in health care consulting or related company experience at Senior Manger level or above.
