Voluntary

Job overview

We are looking to recruit friendly and approachable people to volunteer in the Newcastle Hospitals Charity  pop-up retail shop located in the atrium of the Great North Children' Hospital at the Royal Victoria Infirmary Hospital.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining the smooth running of the shop, welcoming customers, managing payments, and ensuring that the displays are topped up and look attractive.

Working for our organisation

The Great North Children's Hospital (GNCH) at the RVI in Newcastle is one of the 4 largest children's hospitals in the UK. GNCH cares for poorly or injured children from Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside and Northumberland and also provides highly specialised care for all children in the North East and North Cumbria with severe or long-term illnesses. As an internationally leading research Centre, clinicians at GNCH work side by side with research staff to constantly improve treatments for all childhood diseases.

Newcastle Hospitals Charity helps our hospitals go further by making a positive difference for all of the patients, staff and communities at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
