Job overview

The Business Intelligence Team ensures the efficient and effective gathering of robust performance management information across the company and assists managers to use this information to inform their practice. The team ensures that all statutory and contractual performance reporting is provided both within the company and for stakeholders including commissioners. This team supports managers in ensuring they understand their performance reports and can use them to improve service performance and service user outcomes.

The provision of management information to Directors and Corporate managers to allow them to monitor budgets and drive strategic objectives will also become a key function of the service over time.

This role is based in our Yate headquarters with some hybrid working

To provide analysis and business intelligence reporting across the range of health and social care services provided by Sirona, including corporate data and national mandated returns

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Hold recognised qualifications within professional area at degree level/ BTEC Advanced Professional diploma/ Graduate Certificate Level/ NVQ4/VQ4/5
Desirable criteria
  • This role may require the post holder to travel occasionally to different bases across areas served by the company

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritise and manage own workload to meet deadlines successfully
  • Experience of interpreting data
  • Evidence of the ability to resolve routine and non-routine problems using sound logic
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of health and social care national reporting regimes and data

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Work as part of team to achieve results
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and problem solving
Desirable criteria
  • Relevant technical knowledge Microsoft PowerBi to an Intermediate Level and Excel to an Advanced Level

Knowledge

  • Have understanding and knowledge of GDPR rules to ensure safe transfer of data both internally and Externally

  • Knowledge of SQL desirable
