Job overview

The post will involve the successful candidate working as a member of a skilled dental team. You will be required to assist with reception duties such as welcoming patients into clinics , recording changes in personal details, ensuring the electronic information system is updated as required, making appointments, ensuring laboratory work is received and available for the dental team.

Following appropriate training you will be required to sterilise instruments and equipment.

Main duties of the job

North wales Community Dental Service is seeking to appoint a Dental Health Care Assistant in our Wrexham Dental Centre,

The post will involve the successful candidate working as a member of a skilled dental team. You will be required to assist with reception duties such as welcoming patients into clinics , recording changes in personal details, ensuring the electronic information system is updated as required, making appointments, ensuring laboratory work is received and available for the dental team.

Following appropriate training you will be required to sterilise instruments and equipment.

The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
