About Eleanor:

Key Responsibilities:

•            Provide high-quality medical care to  service users within the rehabilitation unit.

•            Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, psychologists and occupational therapists.

•            Participate in the development and implementation of individualised treatment plans.

•            Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing reviews of patients’ medical and psychiatric needs.

•            Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

•            Engage in regular clinical meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical services.

•            Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with hospital policies.

•            To ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act code of practice and CQC regulations.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

•            MBBS or equivalent medical degree.

•            Full registration with the GMC.

•            Completed specialty training in psychiatry or a related field.

•            Completion of the two-year Foundation Programme (FY1 and FY2) in the UK or an equivalent recognised abroad.

•            Experience in working with patients with personality disorders and comorbid conditions is highly desirable.

•            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•            Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

•            Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
