 Are you organised, efficient, and looking to make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant within the Department of Sexual Health.

 Key Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Administrative Support: Provide essential secretarial and administrative services to our medical and nursing team. This includes taking and distributing minutes, typing clinical letters, and handling various administrative tasks as needed.

System Support: Assist in the support and maintenance of our in-house sexual health appointment and electronic patient record system, Lilie.

Effective Communication: Respond promptly and effectively to telephone and email inquiries from patients, healthcare professionals, and related services.

Independent and Collaborative Work: Manage your workload independently while liaising with other departments, particularly informatics. Prioritise tasks efficiently to meet the needs of the department and adhere to Public Health reporting frameworks.

Reception Support: Provide cover and assistance to reception colleagues during periods of leave, absence, or increased work demands.

  • Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English
  • Experience in Administration
  • Good computer and keyboard skills
  • Holds a full drivers licence and access to own transport
  • A Non-judgemental attitude and awareness of confidentiality
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of confidentiality and safeguarding
  • Use of Lilie and Lorenzo IT software
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Knowledge of Sexual Health
