Job overview

The Medicine Directorate has an opportunity available for someone who either has previous experience or has the necessary skills and mindset and aspires to become a team leader,  to manage the Respiratory admin teams. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for day to day line management of the admin teams, motivating and supporting to bring people together and achieve shared goals. You will support the Operational Manager and Lead nurses to continually improve and develop the service.  You will have excellent communication skills, and knowledge of all Microsoft packages.

Main duties of the job

Main duties will include:

  • Line management of administration teams in Respiratory
  • Maintain annual leave and sick records for admin teams
  • Identify & support the team to achieve shared objectives
  • Provide junior support to the Operational Manager 
  • Assist the secretariat during times of annual leave or sickness
