This is a great opportunity to join our Resourcing Team, which has a challenging recruitment agenda, and a strong commitment to

Candidates will need to possess previous experience of advising and supporting leaders and managers on all aspects of recruitment and

selection, great communication skills and a passion for recruitment.

 

This is a fixed term role for 12 Months.  An on site presence is required for this role. 

Main duties of the job

• Providing the recruitment service to a number of allocated divisions/directorates, acting as their key advisor on recruitment and

resourcing.

• Working with recruiting managers to understand their resourcing needs, create, plan and deliver recruitment campaigns that enable the

attraction and timely recruitment of staff.

• Helping to achieve high standards of service to ensure a good candidate and hiring manager experience.

• Overseeing compliance with all recruitment related documentation, checks and systems, supervising recruitment administrators to

ensure that recruitment processes run efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • • Degree level in an HR related discipline (or equivalent level of experience)
Desirable criteria
  • HR related professional qualification, or working towards this eg CIPD

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience in managing recruitment campaigns, including co-ordination of high volumes of recruitment and multiple assignments
  • Experience of supervising and managing team members
  • Experience of developing recruitment plans in line with organisational objectives, advising recruiting managers on recruitment approaches and strategies
  • Experience of handling senior level recruitment assignments, ‘hard to fill’ roles and engaging recruiting managers at all levels, including senior managers
Desirable criteria
  • Experience in recruitment in a health care setting

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of the recruitment related aspects of employment legislation and compliance required eg for pre employment checks
  • Able to interpret the needs of recruiting managers and deliver successful resourcing strategies to meet their requirements.
  • Proficient in the use of information systems (for applicant tracking, job board portals, HR system) and in the use of the Microsoft office
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of NHS terms of conditions, including Agenda for Change, NHS employment check standards and Safer Recruitment Standards
