We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, skilled MRI/CT radiographer to join our friendly and dedicated cross sectional team as we expand our MRI service. The candidate must be CT and/or MRI trained with at least 1 year recent experience in providing cross sectional imaging in a busy district general hospital or equivalent. The position is permanent and covers 37.5 hours a week with extended days, 7 day working and a CT on-call service.

We have 2 GE CT scanners providing a range of quality imaging including Staging scans, Angiography, Trauma Imaging and Radiographer led CT Colonography.

You must hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent, evidence of post graduate study, HCPC registration, demonstrate evidence of CPD.  A certificate for IV cannulation from a SoR approved course would be an advantage.

Our busy department operates  one 1.5T Siemens Magnetom Sola (with a second to be installed shortly) and two GE CT scanners.  We provide  a wide range of  imaging including MSK, Gynae, GI, Paediatric and Breast imaging.

 As part of our team you will work across both modalities alongside rotational Band 5 Radiographers, Radiology Department Assistants, Apprentice Radiographers and Student Radiographers to provide a timely and efficient service.
