An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and pro-active individual  to join the Patient Safety Team.

The successful candidate will support the Patient Safety team with various aspects of administration work Monday to Friday.  This will include dealing with enquiries from staff and various types of correspondence. 

18.75 hours 

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

A key area of the role will be to provide support with the Trusts Local Risk Management System (Ulysses). This system is used to manage the risk register, incident reporting, Patient Safety Alerts, PALS and Complaints and information requests made to the trust.

  • Support communication within the team, to include answering the telephone to manage or re-direct any queries.
  • Support with general administration duties, sending emails, taking notes, meeting minutes and filing documents electronically.
  • Responsibility for monitoring the Quality and Safety email inbox on a daily basis, actioning any emails and information requests.
  • To be familiar with and understand the different modules within the Ulysses system in order to provide support and training to the clinical teams who use them.
  • Provide the required administration support for the Ulysses system and associated modules. For example, providing specific access to incidents or sending notifications to staff via the Ulysses system.
  • To develop a basic understanding of medical terminology across several specialities and have an understanding of the importance of accurate recording of information.
