An exciting fixed term opportunity has arisen at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust for a Project Support & Communications Officer on behalf of the Act As One Innovation Hub (37.5 Hours a week, 9 month fixed term).

Main duties of the job

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in supporting improvement and innovation in our local health and care system through the Act As One Innovation Hub.  The role will allow the post holder to develop their interest and skills in supporting improvement and innovation projects, whilst supporting the team in coordinating and managing a range of activities and initiatives.

The post holder will work with all members of the team and partners in the Hub to provide high quality project and administrative support.  The individual will be required to manage multiple, vitally important administrative activities spanning priority work streams and projects with a prominent role in supporting delivery of the communications portfolio for the Hub. 

The post-holder will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders through a variety of traditional and digital mediums and portals, including social media.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject, or HND / foundation degree which would be relevant for this level or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects
Desirable criteria
  • Any Project management related qualification or training

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working within a demanding/high intensity project support and administrative setting
  • Experience of successful team working
  • Demonstrable experience working with computerised data systems
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of project coordination and management (within the NHS or other public sector body)
  • Experience of maintaining websites and project communication channels

Skills

Essential criteria
  • Developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work autonomously and equally effective as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Proficient in use of standard IT packages eg Microsoft Office with the ability to master new applications
Desirable criteria
  • Advanced IT skills in a range of desktop applications e.g., Excel, Power BI
  • Use of AI tools to support delivery in a project support and a communications development capacity
