ACP Accreditation Officer

We are looking for an looking for an enthusiastic and motivated ACP Accreditation Officer to support the team responsible for delivering the National Advancing Practice programme in NHS England.

The post holder will work with other members in the team and wider directorate to ensure their workstreams and programmes are planned and managed effectively. The role will be key in assisting delivery of the programme’s objectives and mandate obligations.

Duties will include:

  • Arranging meetings for the Programme Team and support the planning of conferences, meetings, independent panels and events.
  • Supporting the process of reviewing Advanced Practice Programmes
  • Being a point of contact and advice for a range of external stakeholders, internal colleagues, and senior managers
    Providing admin support to the programme.
  • Regularly liaising with and negotiating with senior stakeholders and their offices on difficult and controversial issues.
  • Tracking all project plans and actions across the team, highlighting potential risks and delays in delivery.
  • Providing and receiving complex, sensitive and often contentious information.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

Swydd ddisgrifiad a phrif gyfrifoldebau manwl

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 5 with a full-time starting salary of £28,407.00, although previous experience on this pay scale may be taken into consideration. Salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions of Service and the NHSE Pay Progression Policy.

The post holders’ bases will subject to negotiation although the designated office base is usually the one nearest to the potholder's place of residence.
